I like Dick Winters book a lot but this is my favorite book of all soldiers from the 101st airborne portrayed in Band of Brothers docudrama.. The real Don Malarkey did a great job really telling his story better than anyone else. I like when he wrote "I didn't like Ambrose's book or the Docudrama band of Brothers because it was too Hollywood" He is right they really went overboard embellishing the facts or downright lying about them especially when they killed off soldiers that didn't die.. I really liked the series until i read the soldier's books and did extensive research on the men of Easy Company.. Then i became disappointed in Spielberg and Hanks I highly recommend this book if you want to learn how it really was..
